Bohui Yao
Yao Bohui, born into a family of musicians, has received good edification on art of music since childhood. In 2008, she graduated with honors from Xinghai Conservatory of Music which is located in Guangzhou. In 2009, with the first place in her profession, Yao Bohui was admitted as a graduate student into the Italian Conservatorio G. Frescobaldi Ferrara specializing in the area of opera singing; where she was instructed and supervised by Garbis Boyagian, the master of opera performing arts and music educator. During this period, she participated several times in training lessons taught by Italian opera masters; where she was trained by numerous Italian art masters and has received careful guidance from Maestro Garbis Boyagian, Maestro Ernesto Panariello, Maestra Mirella Freni, Maestra Giovanna Casolla, Maestro paolo Coni, Maestra Daniela Dessi, Maestro William Matteuzzi and other masters. In 2011, she was selected by the Italian Teatro Goldoni Livorno to fully participate in a series of master classes and performances which were held to cultivate young singers.

While studying in Italy, Yao Bohui participated in nearly two hundred concerts of various forms and won the unanimous recognition and praise during the music festival. She is one of the most active Asian sopranos on the European opera stage.
At the invitation of the record company VELUT LUNA in 2012, she recorded and released her solo album "Opera".
In 2012, she was invited to the 14th Shanghai International Music Festival of the People's Republic of China where she held the Famous Italian Youth Singers’ Concert.
In 2013, Yao Bohui portrayed Nanetta, the heroine of Verdi's last opera "Falstaff", and there she officially began her professional career as an opera actor.
In December 2013, Yao Bohui held a solo concert "Un bel dì vedremo" at Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.
In December 2016, Yao Bohui successfully held a solo concert at the Beijing Concert Hall and won unanimous prizes and praises from all sectors of society.
Between 2017 and 2018, Yao Bohui successively signed contracts with Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti, and participated in the seasoned training programs and performances of the opera house as a young singer.
In 2018, Yao Bohui successfully played Michaela in Bizet's Opera Carmen at Bristol Opera House in Bologna, Italy.
In 2018, Yao Bohui successfully starred in the role of Musetta in the Giacomo Puccini’s Opera "La Bohème" at Teatro Filarmonico di Verona.
In 2019, she successfully has been one of the few Asians to sing in Arena di Verona, participating in the production and performance of three operas, "Carmen", “La Traviata” and "Aida", in the 97th Arena di Verona Opera Festival.
